Program Description
Under the TB Free India Campaign, the Indian Red Cross Society Bhadohi distributed nutritional food packets to 100 TB patients by District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar. Addressing the program organized at Dattopant Thegdi Auditorium of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park, District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar said that the administration is working with the resolution of "TB Free Bhadohi" to make Bhadohi district TB free by November 2025. Nutrition food is being distributed to the patients through various voluntary organizations in the district. More than one thousand nutritional food packets have been distributed in the district so far this year. District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar said that the patient should take a balanced diet along with regular medication. One should pay attention to his health with positive thinking. He wished everyone a speedy recovery. Praising this work of the Red Cross, the District Magistrate said that the Red Cross is always at the forefront to serve the poor and the needy. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak and Additional CMO Dr. Vivek Srivastava advised all patients to take regular medicines and nutritious food. Patients were told in detail about the precautions to be taken. TB patients were made to take a pledge to cooperate in TB free Bhadohi. Secretary Dr. Bharatendu Dwivedi welcomed all the guests at the beginning of the program. He said that Red Cross has been working ahead in TB free Bhadohi till now and will continue to cooperate in future as well. Treasurer Mr. Harendra Pratap Singh thanked the members present for their cooperation in the program, District Information Officer Dr. Pankaj Kumar, R.C Tripathi, Abdul Wahid Ansari, Dr. R.
