As Part Of Seva Pakhwada, Indian Red Cross Society Organized A Health Fair And Blood Donation Camp At Lakhimpur Kheri Medical College.
On the occasion of the birthday of India’s Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, and as part of the Seva Pakhwada running from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, the Indian Red Cross Society, Lakhimpur Kheri played an active role by participating in a Health Fair organized today, 17th September, at Medical College Lakhimpur Kheri.
The program was conducted under the guidance of the District Magistrate and Chief Medical Officer of Kheri, and under the leadership of Dr. Ravindra Sharma (Chairman, Red Cross Kheri), Dr. Ravindra Nath (Vice Chairman), and Aarti Srivastava (Secretary).
The Red Cross team participated in the event by first organizing a Blood Donation Camp, where community members were made aware and encouraged to donate blood, playing a key role in the camp's success.
Following this, a First Aid Camp was conducted by Dr. Manoj Srivastava and Dr. Rameshwar Maheshwari (both Life Members of Red Cross), where they sensitized attendees, including rural women, on health, personal hygiene, proper nutrition, and how to maintain good health through yoga.
The Red Cross team also distributed washable masks to the attending medical staff and the general public.
Dignitaries present at the event included Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma, Red Cross Secretary Aarti Srivastava, Life Members Babita Saxena, Dr. Rameshwar Maheshwari, Dr. Manoj Srivastava, and volunteers Amarnath Shukla, Shubham Singh, Sunita Singh, Shashank Shukla, along with several respected doctors and citizens.
