Nutrition Packets Were Distributed To Tuberculosis Patients
As part of the Prime Minister's TB-Free India Campaign 2025, a nutritional support distribution program was organized on August 28, 2025, under the coordination of the Indian Red Cross Society at the TB Hospital premises.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajeev Nayan Giri, who began the event by distributing nutrition kits to five TB patients.
Following this, all 51 TB patients, adopted by the Red Cross Chairman and life members, were provided with nutrition kits.
The nutritional items included roasted gram, peanuts, jaggery, sattu, and protein powder. These supplies will be provided to each patient regularly until the completion of their medical treatment course.
The program was conducted by Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Nishat Shahabuddin (District TB Officer), Secretary Ajit Singh, life member Mahendra Shukla, Dr. Wakeel Ahmad, Namo Narayan Gupta, Gorelal, K.K. Singh, Vishun Babu, Premchandra Maurya, Suresh Kumar Srivastava, Shahnur Alam, Punit Veer Vikram, and Radheshyam Gupta, among others.
