Program Description
Today on 1/8/24 at 11 am, a new chapter of service was written under the coordination of Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation. Under which 15 leprosy patients were adopted by Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society. The program was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajiv Nayan Giri by giving nutritional material to the leprosy patients. The Chief Medical Officer provided protein powder to everyone on his behalf. All the adopted patients will be provided nutritional material (gram, peanuts, jaggery, protein powder) by Dr Anurag till the completion of their medical course. Soap, Dettol, bandage, cotton, Betadine ointment were also given along with nutritional material. Chief Medical Officer explained to all the patients that this disease is not to be hidden. By taking medicine in the district hospital, hands and legs can be saved from getting crooked and the disease does not spread to others. Along with this, he praised the service work being done by Dr Anurag and encouraged him. On this occasion, District Leprosy Officer Dr Rajendra Kumar Verma, District Tuberculosis Officer Dr Nishat Shahabuddin, District Leprosy Physiotherapist Dr Manoj Kumar Singh, Hansraj Singh, Narendra Singh, N Pandey, Gorelal, Prashant Chaturvedi along with major associates Ajit Singh Secretary, Chaitanya Kumar Convener Disabled Cell Indian Red Cross Society Fatehpur were present.
