Barhalganj! On the instructions of District Magistrate, the team of Indian Red Cross Society Gorakhpur visited the flood affected areas of Saryu Rapti of Tehsil Gola today on Sunday and obtained necessary information and distributed relief material to the needy! After visiting the flood affected revenue villages Kolkhas, Ramnagar, Patna, Distwalia, Lakhnauri, Subedar Nagar under the leadership of Red Cross's divisional in-charge/secretary Ajay Pratap Singh, he said that necessary information of the disaster affected villages is being collected. Red Cross will distribute kitchen set, tarpaulin, hygiene, bucket, clothes, cleanliness kit to each identified affected person. Necessary medicines will also be made available in the disaster affected villages through health check-up camps with a team of skilled doctors. Today tarpaulin was distributed to the needy injured people of Kolkhas, Ramnagar, Distwalia and hygiene kits were distributed to women. On the said occasion, apart from Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Organization's State Organization Minister Hriday Shankar Singh, Red Cross's lifelong members Prabhat Singh, Chhotku Singh, Jayant Singh, Jitendra Yadav, Umesh Yadav, Bholi Yadav, Dharmendra Sonkar and many volunteers were present!
