Recently, on April 26, there was a massive fire incident in Siswan Pandey village in which a young man died. Red Cross members reached there today with immediate help. Among the affected families, the houses, roofs and other belongings of Mohan, Shanti Devi, Ram Pravesh, Krishna Murari, Ram Haresh, Ram Darsh, Tappe Ansari, Zainuddin Ansari, Mainuddin Ansari were burnt to ashes recently. Red Cross members extended their helping hand to the fire affected family in the village. Today, as per the instructions of President of Indian Red Cross Society Deoria/District Magistrate Deoria Mr. Akhand Pratap Singh and on the information of Sadar MLA Shalabh Mani Tripathi, under the leadership of Vice Chairman Shri Akhilendra Shahi along with the members of Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh, life member Himanshu Kumar Singh and members of the Red Cross  for help  Anil Tiwari etc. were present. Red Cross members provided a tarpaulin, complete set of utensils, bedsheets, soap, surf, oil brushes, toothpaste and all household items etc. to the affected families and other help was also assured.

On this occasion, village head Pawan Pandey, Govind Pandey, Virendra Pandey, Ram Swaroop Rawat etc. were present. Akhilendra Shahi of Red Cross told the victim Mohan that all the members are standing with you and will provide all possible help. On the spot, the members also covered the roofless house of the victim with tarpaulin.
