Shravasti, April 05, 2024. S.V. The Red Cross Society, continuously active in the service of humanity in the district, distributed relief material to the fire victims of the district. On this occasion, Poonam Devi, wife of Aapda Mitra Jeevan Lal, who was earlier discharging the responsibility of Aapda Mitra, was also provided assistance. On this occasion, Red Cross President/District Magistrate Kritika Sharma said that with the increase in temperature, fire accidents are increasing in the district and some such fire victims are being provided assistance today by the Red Cross. The general public also needs to be alert to avoid fire. Necessary arrangements have also been made by the administration.

On this occasion, Red Cross Secretary/Disaster Expert Arun Kumar Mishra said that efforts are made to provide immediate relief assistance to the fire victims in the district. Since the fire victims do not have any household items left, hence the Red Cross is providing relief assistance to all the victims. A kitchen set, an 8'6 meter tarpaulin, a blanket and a hygiene kit have been provided which will help them in getting their lives back to normal. Today, relief material was given to Jaipattarpurwa fire victims Shakuntala, Baur, Kamla and Kanhai. During this time, a tricycle was also provided to the fire victim, Divyang Baur, by the District Magistrate.

On this occasion, Saharanpur's disaster expert Pankaj Mishra, accountant Dhirendra Pathak and other Red Cross officers  were present.
