Program Description
Today, on 9/3/24, at 11 am, under the auspices of the Indian Red Cross Society, a program was organized to distribute nutrition material to 50 tuberculosis patients adopted under the Prime Minister's TB Free Campaign and hygiene kit distribution program to identified needy, destitute and widowed women. Honorable MP Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti ji, Union Minister for Food Processing and Dr. Ishteyak, Chief Medical Officer and Dr. Nishat Shahabuddin, District Tuberculosis Officer were present as chief guests in the program. The program was conducted by Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Chairman Red Cross Society. First of all, the MP and special guests were honored by life and executive members by decorating them with badges, garlanding them and presenting them shawls. After that, on the occasion of International Women's Day, a poem was read by Priyanshu Srivastava on women's respect. Then came Matri Shakti, Vice Chairman Dr. Razia Sultana, Executive Member Mohanjyoti, Life Member Rita Singh Tomar, Varsha Srivastava, Sadhna Chaurasia, Deepika Srivastava and Rita Devi were honored by the MP by giving them corsages and garlands. Also, the important social and medical services being done by Chairman Dr. Anurag were honored. For this, the MP was honored by presenting a shawl and garland and Ashish Mishra, former President of BJP, was honored with a badge. Then the MP started the program by providing nutrition material to tuberculosis patients Shri Ram and Muskaan and hygiene kits to identified destitute Sukhdei and Krishna Kumari. On this occasion, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti ji said that Indian Red Cross Society Fatehpur is providing very important services to the society and the society should come forward and help the needy in the same way.
