On 15 August, Independence Day was celebrated by the Indian Red Cross Society Lakhimpur Kheri with the flood affected families. Umbrellas, solar lights and food items were distributed to the flood affected families with the help of Inner Wheel Club of Lakhimpur Nav Disha and International Khatri Mahasabha.
