Program Description
On the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, at the last stop of Seva Fortnight, President of Indian Red Cross Society Ghaziabad, Shri Rakesh Kumar Singh IAS, under the inspiration of District Magistrate, in the presence of Chairman of Ghaziabad Red Cross Unit, Dr. Subhash Gupta, cleaned the public mind in the slum of Nandgram. Giving the message of Nukkad Sabha and the cleanliness leader Mr. Brijpal and Mr. Manoj Shalin were decorated with patka and red flag in the dignified presence of local councilor Mr. Virendra Tyagi, former councilor Mrs. Krishna Tyagi, Anil Bahrani, Kulwant Singh, Pramod Contractor etc. Honored by giving a memento of the cross. At the end of this one hour long program, all the sanitation workers and enlightened citizens present took the oath of cleanliness.
Besides, sanitary napkin pads were also distributed to all the female sanitation workers.
