Program Description
First Aid training camp was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society branch, Deoria at Scholar Senior Secondary School, Raghav Nagar. This camp is a part of the much awaited scheme which has been requested by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Brijesh Pathak. First aid training should be given in all schools. In this sequence, Shweta Talwar and Muskan Chaurasia provided training here under the leadership of Shri Akhilendra Shahi, Vice President of Indian Red Cross Society State Branch, Uttar Pradesh. of the program
The beginning was first started by lighting the lamp by Chairman of Deoria branch, Dr. Ramesh Chandra Singh, Patron Vishnu Aggarwal, Deputy Patron Rajkumar Aggarwal, Municipality President Deoria Mrs. Alka Singh present as the chief guest and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajesh Jha as the special guest. Chief Medical Officer Dr Rajesh Jha said that it is very important for teachers to be trained in first aid to prevent accidents in schools. He praised the Indian Red Cross Society for this work. Mrs. Alka Singh said that children are playful by nature, hence taking care of them is the priority of the schools. She also assured to provide all possible cooperation from her level. While talking, Deputy Chairman Indian Red Cross Society State Branch Uttar Pradesh Akhilendra Shahi said that this program is to be organized in all the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, which is being started from here first under the leadership of District Magistrate Sir Deoria in all the districts. It is the priority of the Indian Red Cross Society to train teachers of government and non-government schools in first aid. During the training, trainer Shweta Talwar, who came from Lucknow, sequentially told D R S A B C i.e. in case of any kind of accident, first check the danger, then see the response of the injured person, then SOUTH i.e. shout for help, then check the airway and breathing of the injured person. The first thing is to check the system and then to see the condition of the person whether he is conscious/semi-conscious or unconscious and prepare to give first aid accordingly. He further told during the training that within half an hour to one hour of the accident occurring, immediate facilities should be provided during the golden hour itself and arrangements should be made to reach the hospital by calling an ambulance etc. so that specialist doctors can treat him. Our responsibility as a first aider is not to cure him but to take him to a specialist doctor before his condition worsens. He also specifically told about CPR training. He highlighted in detail that there are different arrangements for first aid according to different situations like fire, electric shock, earthquake etc. In case of emergency, he made a stretcher from the sheets etc. present in the house and to transfer the patient safely from one place to another, in case of fracture of arm, leg or waist etc., he provided support through wooden planks etc. commonly available in the home office. Also told the way to give. On this occasion, a very high quality first aid box was also provided to the school by the Indian Red Cross Society Deoria.

During the program, Chief Fire Officer Raj Mangal Singh highlighted the arrangements for extinguishing fire and providing first aid in case of serious fire. He provided training on how to extinguish fire in homes caused by domestic gas cylinder or fire caused by electrical short circuit.
  School Principal Sapna Kejriwal and Nikunj Aggarwal honored all the guests by giving mementos and body clothes. School Director and Deputy Patron of the Indian Red Cross Society, Deoria, Rajkumar Aggarwal expressed his gratitude to the guests and said that the work being done by the Indian Red Cross Society is very important in the public interest. We all support this campaign in every way. Will continue to cooperate in taking it forward.
