Blood donors donated hundred units of blood

Jaunpur. A blood donation camp was organized in the college campus under the joint aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Jaunpur Unit and S.N. College of Pharmacy Babupur Lakhaunwa. In which approximately hundred units of blood were donated by students and regional people.

The program was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon by the chief guest, State General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Dr. Hima Bindu Nayak. Addressing the program, the chief guest said that by donating blood of one person, four lives can be saved. Blood donation is a great donation, there is no donation bigger than this on earth.

Special guest, State Vice President of Indian Red Cross Society, Akhilendra Shahi said that along with blood donation, there should be arrangements for first aid at as many places as possible. Vice President Shahi requested the college family to make arrangements for first aid and its training. Did . So that the victim can be saved by getting first aid at the right time.

Special guest CMO Dr. Lakshmi Singh highlighted the importance of blood donation in detail and inspired more and more people to donate blood.

Dr. Manoj Vats, Secretary of Red Cross Society Jaunpur Unit, highlighted in detail the work done by Red Cross in the district throughout the year and the outline of upcoming plans. Dr. Vats said that very soon Red Cross will establish its own blood bank. Will be done. Ultra sound and city scan will also be arranged for poor patients at Red Cross Bhawan at low cost. The guests were welcomed by Red Cross officials and college directors Santosh Agrahari, Anup Singh, Rajkumar Agrahari by presenting them with flower bunches and saplings and mementos were given to Red Cross members Ravi Singh, DCF Chairman Dhannajay Singh, Atul Singh, Sanjay Upadhyay, Vidyadhar Rai Vidyarthi, Provided by Anil Gupta, Preeti Gupta, Rajni Singh, Vijay Mishra, Shiv Narayan Singh, Shashikant Singh. Pulse oximeter was given to 05 present doctors by the chief guest. Hygiene kits were also distributed to the girls who donated blood. Along with blood donation, a health camp was also organized.

The program was conducted by Dr. Sandeep Pandey, Treasurer, Red Cross Society Jaunpur Unit. On this occasion, a large number of people including Amita Srivastava, Vandana Rao, Prakant Dubey, Dr. Swarup Chatterjee, Himanshu Pal, Shefali Agrahari, Pratiksha Mishra, Debashish Jena, Jitendra Yadav, Shubham Singh, Sakshi Gupta, Jyoti Verma, Jiba Fatima Awan Pandey were present. Blood donating students were present, all the blood donors were honored with citation by the chief guest, special guest and Red Cross.
