Red Cross Society celebrated Independence Day with children in a unique way, fed sweets and gave gifts to children

Ballia:- Today, Tuesday, 15/08/23, on the 77th anniversary of independence, water bottles and lunch boxes were distributed by Indian Red Cross Society Ballia to the children of Indira Junior High School city area and the children of Anganwadi center.

    The first chief guest Chief Medical Officer/Vice President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia and special guest Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Mr. Devendra Pratap Singh and Dr. RB Yadav were honored by the Acting Principal of the school Mrs. Vibha Pandey by putting a batch and giving the national flag After that, the welcome song was presented by the children and cultural programs on various topics were organized by the children, which was very attractive.

Water bottles were distributed to the children of Anganwadi center and lunch boxes and tricolor were distributed to the children of council schools by the chief guest and special guest in collaboration with Red Cross Society Ballia.

In his address, the Additional District Magistrate shared his childhood memories and said that preparations for August 15 used to start a month before in the schools. While saluting the brave sons and fighters on this occasion, he said that we have not got this freedom just like that, for this our forefathers have lost their lives, then we have got this freedom, he wrote a poem from his childhood, Makhan Lal Chaturvedi. Composed -

        Vangari, break me, you have to throw me on that path.

        To lay down one's head for the motherland, the path on which many heroes go.

Giving good wishes to the children in the address by the Chief Medical Officer, he sang a song remembering his childhood -

      Show children and walk on the path of justice, this country is your leader, you are the leader of tomorrow.

Deputy Suraj Tiwari proposed to the Chief Medical Officer that the Red Cross Society should adopt this school and a health camp should be organized by you in this school premises, on which the Chief Medical Officer gave his consent.
