Program Description
Red Cross and SSB jointly organized multipurpose camp in Raniapur
* District Magistrate Kritika Sharma inaugurated by cutting the ribbon
* Health, disaster management, child development and animal departments got involved
Total 170 patients and 85 animals got treatment
A multipurpose camp was organized at Tharu Bahulya Raniapur Gram Sabha located on Shravasti-Nepal border under the direction of Kritika Sharma, President of Indian Red Cross Society/District Magistrate. In which mainly Medical Department, Animal Husbandry, District Disaster Management Authority and Child Development and Nutrition Department participated. The program was inaugurated by District Magistrate Kritika Sharma, Senior Deputy Commandant Nirupesh Kumar, Deputy Commandant Sonu Kumar, and Vice President/Chief Medical Officer Dr. AP Singh by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, Mission Indradhanush program was started by vaccinating five children in front of the District Magistrate. Along with this eye examination and consultation was provided to the villagers especially for the rapidly spreading eye conjunctivitis in the area by eye doctor Dr. Ashwini Lal Mishra. In this camp, consultations and medicines were provided by Dr. SK Mishra, Women's Disease, Dr. Madhu Chakraborty and Pediatrics, Dr. SK Singh for common ailments. A total of 170 patients were provided free consultation and medicines. In this camp, along with human, the facility of veterinary camp was also available. Here 75 animals of the villagers were treated by Dr. Imran.
Hygiene kit given to pregnant women
On this occasion, the District Magistrate interacted with 10 pregnant women of Raniapur Gram Sabha and got them tested. Held the baby showers of two new midwives. The District Magistrate provided hygiene kits provided through the Indian Red Cross Society to the women present including Pratima, Raveena, Aasi, Deepa, Sushma, Sita, Anita, Jyoti and Deepika.
Organizing Rahat Chaupal
On this occasion, a Rahat Choupal was also organized by a District Disaster Management Authority under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. In which the villagers were mainly made aware about the disasters like snakebite, thunderclap and flood. Apart from the District Magistrate, Deputy Collector Piyush Jaiswal, Tehsildar Jagruti Singh, disaster expert Arun Kumar Mishra and other revenue workers were present in this chaupal.
On behalf of SSB, Assistant Commandant Panchanan Mahajan, Inspector Onkar Singh DPO PK Das, Block Education Officer Rajeev Ojha, Medical Superintendent Dr. Praveen Kumar, Tarun Shukla, Damayanti Maurya, Anganwadi and Asha workers and hundreds of villagers were present. are . The coordination and operation of this program was done by Arun Kumar Mishra, Secretary of Red Cross Society.
