District Magistrate Deoria Shri JP Singh distributed leprosy kits to 21 leprosy patients in a program organized at Collectorate premises Deoria. Before distribution of leprosy kits,all were given sweets and garlands.Along with this,he also distributed blankets and soap kits brought by the Indian Red Cross Society Deoria.Addressing everyone,he said that the society's perception about leprosy patients has to be changed and now they have to be brought into the mainstream.Now the time has come to remove this disease from the whole world.For this we all have to make efforts together.Addressing the gathering, Vice Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society, Uttar Pradesh Mr. Akhilendra Shahi said that we all are standing with them and Indian Red Cross Society will continue to work for them in association with the district administration whenever required.
