Baliya. Today, on 09/01/23, on Monday, the adoption of TB patients of the district was organized at PWD Dak Bungalow.
District Tuberculosis Officer / Secretary of Red Cross Society Dr. Anand Kumar said that
The government has resolved to eradicate TB by the year 2025. Several concrete steps have been taken in this direction. In the same order, TB patients are being adopted by private institutions, social workers and officials. Through which the adopted person is given nutrition, treatment and other assistance to the beneficiary. District Tuberculosis Officer / Secretary of Red Cross Society, Dr. Anand Kumar said that 274 TB patients have been adopted by the Red Cross Society so far in the financial year 2022. The campaign for the adoption of TB patients is being run by the Red Cross Society from March 24, 2022.
In order of the same, a program for adoption of new patients has been organized today, in which 15 tuberculosis patients have been adopted by the Board of Trade, social organizations and Red Cross Society Ballia.
  10 tuberculosis patients have been adopted by Vyapar Mandal and 05 by Red Cross Society Ballia.
In this sequence, Her Excellency Honorable Governor Madam/Chairman Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh Anand Ben gave fruit basket to the adopted patients and nutrition potli to tuberculosis patients by the adopted people.
He told that everyone should come forward unitedly to eradicate TB, be it officers, employees, businessmen, social organizations or social workers, because when everyone's cooperation is there, then only our slogan 'TB will win the country' will come. will succeed.
He expressed his gratitude to all the adopters and gave citations to all the 15 adopters.
