Program Description
Voter awareness program was organized by Indian Red Cross Society branch Sitapur by putting voter awareness stickers on e-rickshaws, autos, motorcycles, cars and shops at bus stop intersection and octroi, Sitapur. On this occasion, the program was inaugurated by Sanjeev Mehrotra, Chairman, Red Cross, Uttar Pradesh. He said that it is our first responsibility to vote, so every voter must vote considering his duty. Lalit Srivastava, in-charge of disaster management of the organization, appealed to the people to vote before leaving all the work so that 100% voting can be done in Sitapur. Secretary Riyaz Ahmed informed that today an effort has been made by the organization to make people aware of voting by putting about one thousand stickers and tomorrow Red Cross will run awareness programs in old Sitapur and Khairabad. On this occasion, the cooperation of Sanjeev Mehrotra, Chairman Red Cross UP, Treasurer Arun Sehgal, Secretary Riyaz Ahmed, Disaster Management In-charge Lalit Srivastava, Member Hasnain Sajid etc. was commendable.
