Under the joint aegis of Nehru Yuva Kendra Ballia and Red Cross, District Youth Conference and distribution of relief material hygiene kits were organized in the premises of Nehru Yuva Kendra office under voter awareness.

The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest District Chief Medical Officer and Vice President Red Cross Dr. Neeraj Kumar Pandey, Additional Chief Medical Officer and Secretary Red Cross Dr. Anand Kumar, District Youth Officer Presiding Atul Sharma, Special Guest Red Cross District Coordinator Shailendra Pandey and others. Member Shashikant Ojha, Ravi Shankar Tiwari by lighting the lamp and garlanding the statue of Swami Vivekananda. About 220 youths from across the district participated in the program, out of which the participation of 200 girls was commendable.

The Chief Medical Officer said that such programs not only provide a platform to the youth but also their intellectual development. If Nehru Yuva Kendra and Red Cross work together in future, it will be more beneficial for the youth. The District Youth Officer thanked the Red Cross for providing hygiene kits to the members of the Maidati Mandal and highlighted the importance of such events in empowering the girls.

Apart from this, their views were expressed on various topics by the youth and the girls. In the last phase of the program, the Red Cross provided hygiene kits to all the girls and masks to all the participants. Thereafter, photocopies of the District Magistrate's message to the young voters were distributed by Nehru Yuva Kendra to all the youth and members of the Maidati Mandal. District Project Officer Salabh Upadhyay, Nirmala Singh from Red Cross, Usha Kumari, Naveen Singh of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gupteshwar Prasad, all national youth volunteers played an important role in organizing the programme.
