Program Description
Deputy Chief Minister UP Govnt. and Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak,during his visit to Varanasi, distributed nutrition kits to 100 TB patients from Varanasi and relief materials to 50 flood-affected families from Chandauli. The distribution took place during a program organized at Circuit House. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pathak emphasized that realizing the dream of a TB-free India requires a mass movement with active participation from all sections of society. He also assured that the Red Cross Society would provide all possible support to those affected by floods. The event was conducted by Red Cross Chairman of Chandauli, Shri Ajay Singh, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sanjay Rai, Secretary of the Red Cross, Varanasi. The program was graced by the presence of District Magistrate of Varanasi, Shri Satyendra Kumar; State Treasurer of the Red Cross Society, Shri Arun Singh; CMO Varanasi, Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary; CMO Chandauli, Dr. Y.K. Rai; along with several members of the Red Cross from both Varanasi and Chandauli districts.
