During the week of World Red Cross Day, Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Shahjahanpur, Dr. Vijay Johri, along with Red Cross workers, honoured the President of Red Cross, District Magistrate, Hon. Dharmendra Pratap Singh, in the office of District Magistrate, by putting a medal of Red Cross symbol, waving a shawl and presenting a picture of Red Cross founder Henry Donat and told that the theme of World Red Cross 2025 is to keep humanity alive. Dr. Johri told that Red Cross is the first social service organization of the world, which was formed in 1863, which has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize three times. In our country India, Indian Red Cross Society was formed in 1920 under Central Parliamentary Act xv, in which at the national level, His Excellency President is the President and Chairman is Union Health Minister, Government of India. Similarly, at the state level, His Excellency Rajpal is the President and Chairman is Mr. Brijesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh. At the district level, the current President is District Magistrate, Hon. Dharmendra Pratap Singh, who is the President of Red Cross. Society is a source of inspiration for the workers. Dr. Vijay Johri Ji said that Red Cross Society is making successful efforts to open a blood bank in public interest on its Red Cross land, regarding which His Excellency Rajpal and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Brijesh Pathak and District Magistrate and Chief Medical Officer have been informed for cooperation. On this occasion Agraj Johri, Avnish Saxena, Khutar Block Pramukh Namit Dixit, Pawan Saxena, Kripashankar Saxena, Dr. Mujeeb, Dr. Usman Ali, Sajid Hasan Khan etc. were present.
