Program Description
Basti, March 29. Basti branch of Indian Red Cross Society adopted 21 tuberculosis patients. They will be provided nutrition kits by the society for the next six months as per the standards set by the health department.

Society secretary Ranjit Srivastava said that with a view to eradicating tuberculosis, many facilities are being provided by the government. But social organizations also need to come forward in this direction. Such a big goal will be achieved only with combined efforts. He said that the patients whose responsibility has been taken by the society in view of their health will be taken care of completely. Society treasurer Rajesh Kumar Ojha said that Basti branch has taken a step forward in the direction of social welfare.

With a spirit of service, the officers of the society and the entire executive will make every effort at the ground level so that people understand the meaning and importance of the Indian Red Cross Society. CMO Dr. Rajiv Nigam, District Tuberculosis Officer Dr. AK Gupta, Dr. RK Verma, Medical Superintendent TB Hospital, Dr. Vinod Kumar DIO, Dr. RK Verma Medical Officer TB Hospital, Akhilesh Chaturvedi, Gauhar Ali, Rahul Srivastava, Dr. VK Verma, Satendra Kumar Dubey, Ashok Singh, Umesh Kumar Srivastava, Imran Ali, Santosh Singh etc. were present in the program. Kits were distributed in ANM Training Center under the guidance of Vice Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society Dr. L.K. Pandey. In the end, Chairman Dr. Pramod Chaudhary expressed his gratitude to everyone.
