Program Description
An awareness seminar was organized on World Cancer Day in the auditorium of Community Health Center, Khutar under the joint aegis of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Indian Red Cross Society and Mera Yuva Bharat. Chief guest former District Panchayat President Ajay Pratap Yadav said that education and awareness are the only means of preventing cancer. Everyone should adopt physical activities in daily life. Block Pramukh Namit Dixit motivated people to follow a healthy lifestyle and consume a balanced diet regularly. Red Cross Secretary Dr. Vijay Johri said that breast cancer and uterine cancer are the most common cancers in women and it can be prevented only by self-examination and awareness. District Youth Officer Mayank Bhadoria said that cancer can be prevented by adopting awareness, vigilance and a disciplined lifestyle. In the program, the Red Cross Society provided a medical certificate to the affected women. Blankets, tarpaulins and cleanliness were given to the youth Valmiki was also honoured in this birth. DPO, Medical Officer Laxman Gupta, Management Officer Anuj Jauhari, District Magistrate & Dr Vijay Jauhari were present.
