Red Cross movement synonymous with service, Asmita Lal, Pankaj Gupta, Chairman Abhimanyu Gupta, Secretary, Mayank Goyal, Treasurer and working committee were sworn in. Nutritious packets were provided to 15 TB patients. District Magistrate inaugurated District Red Cross office in women's wing. Today, on 8 February 2025, District Red Cross office was inaugurated in women's wing of District Joint Hospital, Baghpat by District Magistrate Mrs. Asmita Lal by cutting the ribbon. District Magistrate Sir administered the oath of office to newly elected District Chairman Pankaj Gupta, Sachin Abhimanyu Gupta, Treasurer Dr. Mayank Goyal, Vice Chairman Hansraj Gupta and working committee members Dr. Kamala Agarwal, Ishwar Agarwal, Master Moolchand, Ajay Goyal, Dr. JS Sharma, Dr. Vinod Kumar and provided certificates. On this occasion, to make the resolution of President of Red Cross Uttar Pradesh, Her Excellency Mrs. Anandi Patel, to make the state free from TB disease a reality, last week, packets were distributed to 50 patients by District Red Cross Baghpat. Today also, District Magistrate Mrs. Asmita Lal and CDO Mr. Rajiv Kumar Srivastava, Additional District Magistrate, Superintendent of District Joint Hospital, Dr. S.K. Chaudhary, Deputy District Medical Officer and TB disease in-charge, Dr. Yashveer Singh, District Red Cross in-charge, Dr. Deepak Kumar, Pankaj Gupta, Chairman, District Red Cross, Abhimanyu Gupta, District Secretary, distributed nutritious food packets to 15 TB patients, which was praised by the District Magistrate. The program was conducted by District Secretary of Red Cross, Abhimanyu Gupta. On this occasion, Deputy Governor of Lions Club, Lion Praveen Gupta, Mrs. Rekha Sharma, Mrs. Kalpana Aman Goyal, Dr. Pradeep Nain, Salbh Goyal, Dr. Robin Kumar, Blood Bank in-charge, Dr. Shukla Mayank Gupta and many other dignitaries were present.
