Red Cross initiative for the health and hygiene of sanitation workers
Today, in a program organized under the chief hospitality of Red Cross President/ District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, hygiene kits and masks were provided to the sanitation workers who are speeding up the sanitation work in Nagar Palika Bhinga. On this occasion, the District Magistrate said that - "Safai Karamcharis are an important link in cleanliness. While cleaning the city, their own cleanliness and health should not be affected. Therefore, all the Safai Karamcharis are being given hygiene kits and masks through Red Cross, which they can use in their daily life to maintain their own cleanliness and stay healthy."
Additional District Magistrate Finance/Revenue Amarendra Kumar Verma said that "Red Cross encourages Safai Karamcharis for cleanliness by providing them hygiene kits every year. This encourages them towards personal hygiene."
Municipal Corporation Executive Officer Dr. Anjali Shukla said that - "Like last year, this year also Red Cross has encouraged Safai Karamcharis. Such events increase the morale of Safai Karamcharis engaged in cleaning the city day and night.
On this occasion, Red Cross Secretary Arun Kumar Mishra said that each Safai Karamchari has been given two high quality masks and a hygiene kit. Sanitary pads, surf, laundry soap, bathing soap, oil, shaving kit have been given in the hygiene kit. On this occasion, Government Advocate Shravan Kumar Dwivedi along with other Red Cross workers were present.
