Program Description
Under the Prime Minister TB Free India 2025 Campaign, under the 100-day intensive TB campaign by Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society and under the guidance of District Magistrate Shri Ravindra Singh, again today on 11/02/25 at 9 am, TB awareness campaign was run among St. Mary Senior Secondary School, Mother Suhag Education Center Sultannagar and members of Homeopathic Medical Association and Homeopathic Chemist Association. Dr. Nishat Shahabuddin, District Tuberculosis Officer was present as the chief guest in the program. Dr. Anurag told all the boys and girls, homeopathic doctors and chemists that India has the highest number of TB patients, TB usually occurs in the lungs and can also spread to other parts of the body. All the children were told the main symptoms of TB and which people are more likely to get TB, along with this, their parents were requested to become Nikshay Mitra through the children to adopt TB patients. It was also told that if any person has symptoms of TB and he is sent to TB hospital, then he should be given a TB certificate. If after examination, TB is detected, then 500 rupees are also given by the government as an encouragement. At the end, all the children, homeopathy doctors, chemists were also sworn in for a TB free India. All the children, doctors, chemists were raising slogans that TB will lose, the country will win. On this occasion, Principal D K Srivastava, Sister Neena, Patron of Homeopathic Medical Association Dr Shiv Prasad Tripathi, President Dr Pankaj Rastogi, Dr Niranjan Dubey, Dr Arun Shukla, Dr Arun Verma, Dr Siddharth, Homeopathic Chemist Nisar Ahmed, Mo Ishteyak, Navneet Srivastava, Abhinav Srivastava, Rakesh Tiwari, Kapil Srivastava, Shailesh Kumar and all the teachers were present.
