As per the instructions of District Magistrate/President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia, under the leadership of Chairman Sanjay Kumar Gupta, members of Indian Red Cross Society Ballia distributed blankets among 10 needy people in the field of Thamhanpura village of Hanumanganj development block and provided them relief in this harsh cold.

During this, teacher/life member Ashish Tiwari said that the basic spirit of Red Cross is to help and serve the deprived and suffering people of the society. Whether it is helping people affected by disaster, helping people during floods, health related services, Indian Red Cross Society stands in the front line in many such critical problems and helps people in every possible way. Teacher Arvind Yadav praised the members of Red Cross and said that Red Cross is an example for serving the deprived and needy people in the society.
