Kasya-Kushinagar. On the occasion of Christmas and the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a cleanliness and awareness campaign was conducted in Seva Basti, Veer Savarkar Nagar (South Tola Sabaya) located in Kasya under the joint aegis of international social organization Rotary Club Kushinagar and Red Cross Society Kushinagar.

On this occasion, women were made aware about the importance of cleanliness and health. During the program, hygiene kits of essential items of daily use were distributed, which included items like sanitary pads, soap, detergent, shampoo, oil, toothpaste, toothbrush and tongue cleaner, as well as blankets were distributed to protect elderly women from cold.

Rotary Club Kushinagar President Wahid Ali said that cleanliness is the foundation of a healthy society. He appealed to the residents of the colony to make cleanliness a part of their daily routine and reduce the use of plastic.

Red Cross Society Chairman Sanjay Singh praised the program and said that such campaigns not only create awareness about cleanliness in the society but also help the needy.

Club Secretary Ajay Singh expressed his gratitude to the people present.

At the end of the program, everyone was made to take a pledge to maintain cleanliness and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
