Under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society, a free checkup camp for ex-servicemen was organized in the premises of the District Sainik Welfare Office on the occasion of Armed Services Flag Day. In which more than 40 ex-servicemen took advantage of the camp. In this camp, District Sainik Welfare Officer and MM Verma, State Vice President Ex-Serviceman Joint Organization, in addition to the officials of Sainik District Organization got their checkup done. On this occasion, Red Cross Secretary Dr. Vijay Johri, while giving information about the Red Cross, said that it was formed in 1863 in Geneva Switzerland by Henry Donat for the help and treatment of injured soldiers. Because before this organization, the treatment of soldiers injured in the war was not done. Red Cross is the first social service organization in the world, which has received Nobel Prize three times. Indian Red Committee was established in 1920 under the Central Parliament Act. It was established in Uttar Pradesh in 1921. Medical officers Manoj Trivedi, Sajid, Mrs. Prem Lata, Saurabh Saxena are present in the camp.
