Blood Donation Awareness And Hiv Awareness Programmes Were Organised

Program Description
Today on 06/11/24 at 11 am, a blood donation awareness and HIV awareness program was organized at Web Infotech Verma Square Fatehpur under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Fatehpur and under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, with the cooperation of the team of District Hospital. At the beginning of the program, first of all, Director Prashant Patil honored all the visitors by presenting them with robes. District Hospital Blood Center Consultant Deepali Verma made the students aware about blood donation. She told that healthy people between 18 to 65 years can donate blood. She told about an easy process of blood donation and also motivated them to use safe blood. An attempt was made to remove the misconceptions related to HIV among the students by Consultant Atul Jaiswal from the District Hospital itself. Also, Dr. Anurag said that we can save four lives with one blood donation and a healthy person can donate blood every three months. In the awareness programme, 16 students got their blood group tested. On this occasion, HIV counsellor Shilu Gupta, Puja Tiwari staff nurse, Kamala Prasad lab assistant along with several other students were present.
