Red Cross healed the wounds of flood victims

Under the direction of District Magistrate / President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia, members of Indian Red Cross Society Ballia distributed relief material among the flood victims of Bairia area for the second consecutive day. Let us tell you that due to the tireless efforts of Chief Passenger Transport Manager Nirbhay Narayan Singh, Indian Red Cross Society Delhi had sent a huge amount of relief material (blankets, utensils sets, tarpaulins etc.) from Delhi through railways to help thousands of flood victims of Bairia area. Which was distributed among thousands of people of 20 villages of Bairia on 9/11/2024 and 10/11/2024 under the leadership of Passenger Rail Manager Nirbhay Narayan Singh. During this, members of Indian Red Cross Society Ballia played a major role in the distribution.

Railway Passenger Management Nirbhay Narayan Singh said during this that the Red Cross is the largest human service organization in the whole world and is at the forefront to help the people affected by disaster across the country. In the same sequence, with the help of Red Cross, flood affected people are being helped in Ballia too so that some balm can be applied on their wounds. Chairman Red Cross Sanjay Kumar Gupta said that Red Cross is the only organization in the world which stands with the needy and helpless people in their happiness and sorrow.

Life member Abhishek Rai said that Ballia often becomes a victim of natural disaster. In both fire and flood disasters, the Red Cross team stands with the affected people like a rock to help them.

Life member Nandini Singh expressed gratitude to all the people present.

Relief material was distributed in two days mainly in villages like Nauranga, Bhuwal Chhapra Chakki, Udai Chhapra, Shival Mathiya, Gopal Nagar, Mangarh, Gaderia, Murar Patti, Bahuwara, Jagdishpur, Bhusaula, Shivpur Kapoor Deir, Sitab Deir, Chand Deir, Udai Chhapra etc.
