Program Description
Sitapur. Gram, peanuts, jaggery, lentils, protein powder were distributed to 25 TB patients adopted by Indian Red Cross Society branch Sitapur and to 05 TB patients by Reedus Society Sitapur at District TB Centre, District Hospital Sitapur. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Manoj Kumar Deshmani, District TB Officer, Sitapur. He praised Red Cross and appealed to other organizations to also participate in this noble work. Chairman of Red Cross Sitapur Sanjeev Mehrotra said that to realize the dream of making India TB free, Sitapur TB patients have been adopted by Red Cross as per the instructions of Her Excellency the Governor. Red Cross Vice Chairman Farhat Beg Sunny made TB patients aware and said that you people should take medicines regularly and use the protein-rich material given so that you people get well soon. On this occasion Readus Society Secretary Santosh Kumar Saxena, Ashish Dixit District Coordinator, Red Cross Secretary Riyaz Ahmed, member Hasanain Sajid etc. were present.
