Under the direction of District Magistrate/President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia, as per the orders of Chief Medical Officer/Vice President IRCS Dr. Vijay Pati Dwivedi Ballia,

The team of Indian Red Cross Society Ballia under the leadership of Chairman IRCS Sanjay Kumar Gupta distributed relief material among the flood affected people in Ojhavaliya, the village of Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi ji.

During this, the Red Cross team reached the doorsteps of the affected people and distributed tarpaulin and sanitary napkins.

DSO/Patron Member Red Cross Dr. Abhishek Mishra said that the Red Cross Society stands as a support to the needy people in every happiness and sorrow and in the present time, amidst the terrible horror of floods, we all are working to help the people by performing our human duty. Patron Member Sardar Surendra Singh Khalsa said that the Red Cross has always been doing the virtuous work of bringing smiles on the faces of the suffering and helpless people.

Chairman Sanjay Kumar Gupta said during this that the Red Cross is helping the people affected by the flood in accordance with its basic nature of human service.

Life member Nandini Singh made women aware about communicable diseases and said that by adopting cleanliness in your lifestyle, you should keep your environment healthy along with a healthy body.

District malaria officer Sujit Kumar Prabhakar told the villagers about the measures to prevent communicable diseases and about consuming clean water under the Communicable Disease Control Campaign.
