Awareness Program On The Occasion Of World First Aid Day

Program Description
On the occasion of World First Aid Day, a massive awareness program was organized in village Jamkohana Block Nakaha by the joint efforts of Indian Red Cross Society Lakhimpur Kheri and Aga Khan Foundation. Secretary Aarti Srivastava and Treasurer Vijay Yadav gave detailed information to the community present about the importance of Red Cross, what is first aid, why it is necessary, as well as all the topics of first aid like choking, recovery position, CPR etc., and hygiene kits were distributed to the Anganwadi and Asha Bahus present by the Indian Red Cross Society Lakhimpur Kheri. Block head Pawan Gupta, Child Development Project Officer Mrs. Manju Dubey, Head of Jamkohana Sanjeet Verma, Head of Amkotwa Mrs. Amrun Nisha, Red Cross Kheri Secretary Aarti Shrivastava, Dr. Vijay Yadav, life member Anurag Saxena, Babita Saxena, volunteer Sunita Singh, Amar Nath Shukla, Aga Khan Foundation Project Coordinator Sharif Alam, Cluster Coordinator Mohammad Javed, Anganwadi workers of 15 villages, Asha Bahuve of Jamkohana village and more than 200 villagers participated in the program, soap, toothpaste and sanitary pads were distributed to the present villagers by the Red Cross.
