As per the instructions of District Magistrate/Chairman Red Cross Ballia and under the leadership of Chairman Red Cross Ballia Sanjay Gupta, members of Indian Red Cross Society distributed tarpaulin among 11 needy people living in huts damaged due to heavy rains in Pipra Kala Gram Sabha of Vikas Khand Sohav.

Lifetime member Abhishek Rai said during this time that Red Cross keeps doing the noble work of bringing smile on the faces of needy people.

Lifetime member/Alumni Association President Saurabh Singh Ranu said that currently due to rain, people living in slums are facing the most problems, Red Cross giving tarpaulin to these people at such a time is like giving them a roof over their head.
