Program Description
Today on 12/9/24 at 8 am, under the leadership of Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Coordinator and Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society, life member Amit Srivastava provided hygiene kits to 13 needy, disabled women identified in Hariharganj Anandpuram at New City Montessori School premises. From 9 am onwards, as per the guidance of District Magistrate Mrs. C Indumati ji, under the joint aegis of Indian Red Cross Society and Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation and under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, under the blindness prevention program, cataract operation of 8 helpless, elderly people was done by eye surgeon Dr. Shailendra Patel. All the elderly people were given tea, biscuits and fruits by Dr. Anurag before the operation. Thereafter, hot khichdi was served to everyone after the operation. Later, Dr. Anurag honored the eye surgeon Dr. Shailendra Kumar Patel by garlanding him and presenting him a shawl and a memento for his commendable contribution. All the elderly were overwhelmed by the service of Dr. Anurag and were giving blessings. On this occasion Abhishek Sharma, Manas, Shubham, Zakir, Himanshu from District Hospital along with main associates Indian Red Cross Society life member Abhinav Shrivastava and Rajkaran Pradhan Chitora were present.
