Distribution Of Hygiene Kits To 7 Handicapped Women And Free Eye Testing Of The Elderly

Program Description
Under the joint aegis of Indian Red Cross Society and Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation and under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, today on 11/9/24 at 8 am, hygiene kits were provided to 7 needy and disabled women identified in Radha Nagar New Basti area by Suresh Srivastava, Membership Head, under the coordination and leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava of Indian Red Cross Society. Each hygiene kit contains many items including bathing soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair oil, sanitary pads, which made the women happy. On this occasion, Chief Associate Vinod Kumar was present. Under the blindness prevention program, a new chapter of service was written for the helpless and elderly people. Under which, at 11 am, the eye test of the identified needy and 22 elderly people of the old age home run by the Social Welfare Department located at Mavaiya was done by eye surgeon Dr. Shailendra Patel. Out of which 12 elderly parents were suffering from cataract, all of whom had vision problems. The tests were done today and tomorrow on 12/9/24, cataract operation will be done on all of them. Tea and biscuits were provided to all the elderly people by Dr Anurag. On this occasion, Abhishek Sharma, Manas, Shubham, Zakir, Himanshu from District Hospital and Kaushal Srivastava, Ashok Shukla, Deepali Verma from Blood Centre along with major associates Indian Red Cross Society life member Abhinav Srivastava and Rajkaran Pradhan Chitora were present.
