Awareness Rally In Tb Patient Search Campaign

As per the guidance of District Magistrate Mrs. C Indumati ji, under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Fatehpur and under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, an awareness rally was taken out by the children of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Chowk, playing an active role in the active tuberculosis patient search campaign running from 09/09/24 to 20/09/24 today. In the rally, slogans like "TB will lose, the country will win, adopt DOTS, get rid of TB" were being raised by TB Treatment Supervisor Ajit Singh through the children. To make the parents aware through the children, Dr. Anurag told that if you have cough for 15 consecutive days, get yourself examined by a doctor in the TB hospital, all the treatments are completely free and nutritional material will also be provided during TB treatment and Rs 500 per month is also given in the account. Also, Ajit Singh said that the TB patient search campaign is for 20 percent of the population of Fatehpur, which includes district jail, slum urban and rural, high risk area HIV, madrasa, brick kiln, etc. It will be run in kilns, labour market, mills etc. and on finding of symptoms, sputum will be tested and if TB is detected, treatment will be started within 48 hours. On this occasion principal Arjun Singh, teacher Vinod Shrivastava, Deepak Prakash, Vinod Uttam, Meenakshi, Varsha, office superintendent Shailendra Tripathi along with key associate Gore Lal, lifelong member of Indian Red Cross Society were present.
