Program Description
The meeting of the Managing Committee of the Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh State Branch was held today on 19-06-2024 in the Red Cross Auditorium. The meeting of the Managing Committee was chaired by Shri Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh / Chairman, IRCS Uttar Pradesh. First of all, Dr. Himabindu Naik, General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Red Cross, warmly welcomed and greeted the officials and members who came from the districts and presented a bouquet of flowers to the Chairman. In the same sequence, Shri Akhilendra Shahi, vice  Chairman also expressed his gratitude to all the members who came. Thereafter, with the permission of the Chairman, the proceedings of the Managing Committee meeting were started. In the meeting, the representatives who came from the districts told about the Red Cross activities going on in their respective districts and put the problems being faced in doing public welfare work in front of the Chairman. After listening to all the problems, the Chairman put forward his suggestions to solve different problems. On this occasion, Dr. Himabindu Naik, General Secretary informed that due to the special efforts of the Chairman, 6 districts of Red Cross have been provided their offices for work. This is providing continuous momentum to the work of Red Cross. On this occasion, the Chairman stressed that a list of 100 blood donors should be prepared in all the districts along with their mobile numbers and it should be mandatorily uploaded by tagging me and my account so that if any needy person in any district needs blood, he can contact the blood donors and avail this service.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Amar Nath Mishra, member management committee thanked all the members who came for the successful meeting.
