Program Description
Today, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Kakori incident, a massive blood donation camp was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society in the blood bank of Ursula Hospital. The program was inaugurated at 10:30 am by the Chief Medical Officer. 34 people donated blood while paying tribute to the martyrs. Red Cross Secretary RK Safar presented the blood to the donors and also gave them a certificate of appreciation. On this occasion, Indian Red Cross Vice Chairperson Dr Pooja Awasthi, senior members Sanjay Agarwal, Sanjay Savita, Lakhan Shukla as well as UHM blood bank in-charge Dr Richa Vajpayee, Preeti Bajpai, lab technician Rahul Singh were present.
