Today on 07/08/24 at 8 am, in joint coordination of Indian Red Cross Society, Arogya Bharti and Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation, Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Chairman of Red Cross Society and District Secretary of Arogya Bharti, conducted a campaign for distribution of homeopathic medicines, water conservation, environmental protection and sanitary pads to prevent the outbreak of diseases during the rainy season. Dr. Anurag distributed homeopathic medicines to 90 children of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School Teliani, 85 of Upper Primary School Trilokipur and 88 of Primary School Trilokipur, a total of 263 children, to prevent infectious diseases during the rainy season and to develop immunity. Along with this, sanitary pads were given to Warden Kshama Tiwari by Dr. Anurag for 38 girls of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School. Then Dr. Anurag told to take special care of cleanliness, which includes washing hands with soap before meals and after defecation, using pure water. They were told and encouraged to install water bells for water conservation, collect wastewater from RO and use it for washing utensils and clothes, make ecobricks to stop the use of polythene for environmental conservation, and the girls were also told that diseases occurring during menstruation can be avoided by maintaining cleanliness. On this occasion Principal Sunita Pandey, Ruchika Singh along with key associate Suresh Srivastava, Membership Head, Indian Red Cross Society were present.
