Program Description
On the occasion of World Environment Day, various types of fruit bearing and medicinal plants were planted today in the premises of Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh State Branch under the tree plantation program.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Himabindu Naik, General Secretary of Red Cross Uttar Pradesh, by planting Rudraksh and Mango plants. Dr. Naik said on this occasion that along with planting the plants, we will have to protect the plants for at least one year, only then this program will be meaningful.
In this program, many plants were also planted by the students of BITS Pilani College, who are currently doing internship in Red Cross.
On this occasion, apart from Red Cross Management Committee member Advocate Mr. Shafiq Jama, staff members Mr. Mohd. Haroon, Rajneesh, Sanjay, Shweta, everyone made the program successful by planting one plant each.
