Indian Red Cross Society Lakhimpur Kheri, on the auspicious occasion of World Red Cross Day, 8th May, the birth anniversary of the father of Red Cross, Sir Jean Henry Dunant, was celebrated with great pomp at C.B. Singh Gaur Memorial College, on this occasion under the efficient management of Red Cross life member Aryndra Pal Singh. The members of the organization lit the lamp and first garlanded the statue of Mother Saraswati and the statue of Sir Jean Henry Dunant, the father of the Red Cross.
After this, Red Cross Kheri Secretary Aarti Srivastava highlighted the works and importance of Red Cross by giving the biographical introduction of the father of Red Cross, Dr. Vijay Yadav while highlighting the Red Cross Day theme "Keeping Humanity Alive" taught the present students about humanity in life. Was encouraged to enter.
After that, lifetime membership certificates were given to the earlier life members Babita Saxena, Sapna Kakkar, Anil Srivastava, Rameshwar Maheshwari, and all the newly appointed members were welcomed with garlands and bouquets. In the same sequence, Sudhakar Lala and Prashant Lala were welcomed with fire victims' families. He was honored with a citation for his support to the Red Cross in helping the Red Cross, Acharya Shri Vrat of Takshila Gurukul was also honored by presenting a flower bouquet and all the Red Cross members and volunteers present were honored by garlanding them and presenting them with a flower bouquet.
Hygiene kits were presented to the nannies and staff working in the school, and soap paste brush material was presented to the students. The work of Red Cross was appreciated by the school manager Rakesh Gaur and Ramesh Chandra Gupta who were present as special guests. The present students were made aware about humanity, cleanliness and fire prevention by organization members Aryanendra Pal Singh, Rammohan Gupta, Purnima Mishra etc.
