World Red Cross Day is celebrated every year on 8 May. This day is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Jean Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross and the first Nobel Prize winner for peace. In this sequence, Red Cross branch Siddharthnagar and associate institute Madhav in the district. Under the auspices of the Department of Community Medicine of Prasad Tripathi Medical College, a blood donation camp was organized at the Blood Bank, District Joint Hospital, Siddharthnagar. In the blood donation camp, Secretary of Red Cross Branch Siddharthnagar, Head of Department of Community Medicine Dr. Nausad Alam, Statistician Pratyush Dubey, Dr. Shubham Jaiswal, Dr. Jitendra along with interns.

Gaurav Pandey, Rajkaran Singh, Shruti Singh, Ayush Yadav, Neha Singh, Anurag Meena, Gaurav Yadav, Siddharth, Gagan Madheshia, Mayank Gehlot, Govind Sharma, Arun Dev Jaiswal, Mukul Sharma, Anant Rao, Akhilesh Singh, Danish, Sarthak Verma Arjun Gupta, Priyanka Singh, Rakhi Sinha, Sunil Rahmani, Arshad Khan, Akshat Gupta, Avinash, Ajay Kumar, Ashwin Singh and other students and members of the Red Cross donated blood. Dr. Nausad Alam made people aware about blood donation and appealed to people to join through Red Cross organization and Chief Medical Officer Dr. DK Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Gupta congratulated all the volunteers, Red Cross who participated in blood donation. Cross members thanked the students for their cooperation and wished them good luck for playing an active role in social work in future also. Secretary Red Cross Rishi Pratap Singh expressed his gratitude to everyone and personally thanked active life member Pratyush Kumar Dubey.
