Program Description
On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, 8th May, a seminar was organized today by Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh State Branch. On this occasion, on the birthday of the father of Red Cross, Sir Jean Henry Dunant, General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Red Cross, Dr. Hima Bindu Naik ji started the program by garlanding.
On this occasion, the dignitaries who came to the seminar on the topic “Keeping Humanity Alive” expressed their views. Senior Red Cross member Amir Haider, who came from Barabanki, said that there can be prosperity in the world only when humanity for each other remains alive in the hearts of people. On this occasion, Dr. Himabindu Naik, General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Red Cross, expressed her views and said that we all should help each other in happiness and sorrow and help as much as possible.
On this occasion, painting, slogan and collage competitions were also organized for school children. The General Secretary said that the winning participants of various competitions will also be awarded in the next Red Cross program.
On the occasion of this program, Treasurer of Uttar Pradesh Red Cross, Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Mr. Shafiq Jama, Member Managing Committee, Mr. Ajay Singh, Chairman, Red Cross District Branch Chandauli and senior journalist Mr. Aziz Haider along with a large number of people were present.
