Program Description
Today, on 15/4/24, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the creator of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a blood donation camp was organized at the District Hospital Blood Center under the aegis of the Indian Red Cross Society. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by chief guest Pramod Chandraul, District Development Officer and special guest. The ribbon was cut by Amitabh Srivastava, District Youth Welfare Officer. The chief guest and special guest were honored by the Red Cross Society executive and life members by decorating them with badges, garlands and presenting shawls. Dr. Anurag said that one blood donation can save four lives. Therefore, we all should donate blood voluntarily. Among the total eleven blood donors, Shailendra Singh, Ravendra Tomar, Shailendra Agnihotri, Santosh Kumar Gupta, Vivek Kumar Srivastava, Dinesh Kumar, Shyam Babu, Haider, Arun Kumar Tiwari, Muzammil and Mahendra Shukla donated their 53rd blood. Donated blood on the occasion of his birthday and 15 people also registered for the next blood donation camp. Also, blood donor Mahendra Shukla was honored by presenting him a wreath, shawl and Shri Ram Darbar statue on the occasion of his birthday. All the blood donors were honored by the chief guest and special guest. Encouragement was given by giving citation. On this occasion, Indian Red Cross Society Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Secretary Ajit Singh, Executive Member Dilip Kumar Srivastava, Life Member Sanjay Srivastava, Suresh Srivastava, Brij Kishore, Bhaktdas and HOD Blood Center Dr. Varad Vardhan from the blood center. Dr. Anirudh, Medical Officer, Data Manager Kaushal Srivastava, Counselor Deepali Verma, Lab Technician Ashok Shukla were present.
