On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day today, on June 14, 2023, a blood donation camp was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society Deoria, Amar Ujala Foundation, 49 NCC Battalion and 52 NCC Battalion in the blood bank located at Maharishi Devraha Baba Autonomous Medical College, which The inauguration was done by District Magistrate Akhand Pratap Singh under the chairmanship of Municipality President Alka Singh. The District Officer was welcomed by Vishnu Agarwal, Deputy Patron of the Indian Red Cross Society, by providing bouquets and organ clothes.

The District Magistrate said in his address that if needed, we will give our own blood and call upon the people to come forward. There will be no shortage of blood in the district. He thanked all the blood donors, who have taken the initiative to save the lives of others by donating their blood and expressed his gratitude to all the organizations who participated in blood donation today.
