Today, on World Blood Donation Day, a massive blood donation camp was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Unnao in the Blood Bank located at the District Hospital. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Apoorva Dubey (IAS), District Officer Unnao, District Officer Mrs. Apoorva Dubey also donated blood today. On this occasion Chief Medical Officer Mr. Satyaprakash, Chief Medical Superintendent Mr. Sushil Kumar, Chief Medical Superintendent (Women) and Indian Red Cross Society Unnao President Mr. Ashadin Tiwari, Deputy Chairman Mr. Manish Sengar, Secretary Mr. Sandeep Kumar Pandey, Treasurer Mr. Harsh Kumar Tiwari, Member and State Representative Mr. Harihar Dixit, Member Sanjay Singh Chauhan, Mohd. Salim, Umesh Chandra, Vishnu Kumar Gaur, were present, among those who donated blood today, District Officer Mrs. Apoorva Dubey, District Dibang and Empowerment Officer Mr. Amit Sonkar State Bank Officer Several members of the Red Cross Society including Trinetra Dixit, BJP's state leader Mr. Sunil Tiwari were involved, today a total of 26 people donated blood, in which Amar Ujala supported.

Mrs. Meenu Trivedi, president of Annapurna Charitable Society, also played an important role in organizing the blood donation camp.
