IRCS has become a true sentinel of human sensibilities in Ballia

Whatever may be the intention of this line 'Where the Sun does not reach, the poet reaches there', but the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) in Ballia is making it a reality. It has become the religion of IRCS to reach the colony of people moaning in pain, understanding their disease and giving 'relief'. There is hardly any calamity where IRCS does not lend a helping hand. That is, ICRS has become a true watchdog of human sensibilities._

Let us inform that in Kevataliya Mishra (Balua) village under Bansdih tehsil, on Wednesday, 07/06/23 at around 1 pm, 40 families were affected in the incident of fire due to explosion of cylinder while cooking, in which their houses were kept. Clothes, grains, utensils were burnt to ashes and two dozen goats, cows, buffaloes and heifers were burnt to death.

In the same order, under the direction of the District Magistrate / President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia, according to the orders of the Chief Medical Officer / Vice President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia, giving immediate relief, within 24 hours of the incident, under the efficient leadership of Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Mr. Devendra Pratap Singh. Cross Society Ballia did the work of providing relief to all the 40 affected families, in which kitchen set (complete steel set utensil from cooking to eating), hygiene kit (toothpaste-5, brush-5, coconut oil, washing cloth) per family. soap-5, bath soap-5, razor-3, sanitary pad-4 etc.), bucket set, tarpaulin, dhoti, t-shirt, saree set, soap set etc.

District Disaster Specialist Piyush Singh did a commendable job of coordinating between the Revenue Team and Red Cross Society Ballia.

Appreciating the Red Cross Society Ballia, Additional District Magistrate Mr. Devendra Pratap Singh said that the society has done humanitarian work by giving shelter to the homeless fire victims, clothes for men and women and daily use items. The villagers present on the occasion of distribution praised this effort of Red Cross Society.
