World Red Cross Day 08 May 2023 ********* Voluntary blood donation camp organized with the theme Everything We Do #Comesfromtheheart ****** *Workshop organized on Indian Red Cross Society and its principles**** *** Hygiene kit distributed to women to make them aware of health******** * Tributes paid to the founder of Indian Red Cross Society, Jean Henry Dunant on the occasion of his birthday******** * Today, on the occasion of World Red Cross Day on May 8, 2023, a workshop on Indian Red Cross Society and its principles will be organized in the district hospital premises under the direction of Mr. Arvind Mallappa Bangari, President / District Magistrate of Indian Red Cross Society, Branch District Muzaffar Nagar. Which was presided over by Dr. MS Faujdar, Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Ashok Arora, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society Branch, Muzaffar Nagar, gave detailed information to all the doctors and participants present about the Indian Red Cross Society, its founder and its principle. The Chief Medical Officer/Vice President Indian Red Cross Society motivated all the doctors to take membership of Indian Red Cross Society, under which 25 present doctors took life membership of Indian Red Cross Society. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Vice Chairman Indian Red Cross Society expressed gratitude to all and appealed to all the respected participants present to cooperate with us in this social service work, so that we can make Indian Red Cross Society Branch, District Could take Muzaffar Nagar to the pinnacle in Uttar Pradesh. After the workshop, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Blood Bank District Hospital, Muzaffarnagar, in which blood donors Mr. Sanjeev Verma, Mr. Deepak Sharma, Mr. Shivam Sharma etc. donated blood with full enthusiasm and enthusiasm. In this sequence, hygiene kits were distributed in the auditorium of Indian Red Cross Society, Muzaffar Nagar to make women aware of their health. Tributes were paid to the founder of the Indian Red Cross Society on the occasion of his birthday in the programme. On this occasion, Dr. Lokesh Gupta District Tuberculosis Officer, Dr. Rajiv Nigam Additional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Divya Additional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Vipin Additional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajiv Nigam Additional Chief Medical Officer, Mrs. Alka Singh District Malaria Officer and all community Medical Officer in-charge of Health Center and Medical Officer in-charge of First Aid Center, dignitaries, Chief Medical Officer Office Staff Steno Deepak Kumar, Steno Pakesh, Manoj Kumar, Bahadur Singh etc. and district hospital staff were present.
