Today on 6th July 2022, on the occasion of 121st birth anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, a blood donation camp was organized at the blood bank of the district hospital under the joint aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Deoria, Nehru Yuva Kendra Deoria and National Service Scheme Deoria.

In this blood donation camp, Upendra Kumar Yadav, in-charge of blood donation camp of Indian Red Cross Society Deoria, donated blood for the 47th time and played the role of a true Red Cross volunteer.

Life members of Indian Red Cross Society Deoria, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta and Vijay also donated blood in this camp.

On this occasion, District Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Deoria, Vikas Tiwari said that blood donation is not just called Mahadan. Through blood donation, we can give new life to someone.

Upendra Kumar Yadav, in-charge of blood donation camp of Indian Red Cross Society, Deoria, said that it is our endeavor that there should be no shortage of blood in the blood bank. That is why we keep organizing blood donation camps continuously in association with various organizations. He appealed to the people to donate blood. Don't fall prey to the misconceptions associated and contribute in saving the lives of others by donating blood.
